CPL Celebrates Sarah Gibson’s Promotion to Chief Marketing Officer

ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 49 years, is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah Gibson to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This advancement aligns with the firm’s commitment to fortifying its leadership team and reinforcing marketing strategies for sustained growth.

Gibson will oversee the planning, creation and execution of various marketing and business development initiatives, including proposals, brand management, internal and external marketing campaigns, and business development and marketing analytics.

Drawing upon more than two decades of experience, Gibson will continue to leverage her foundation of knowledge to delve into the nuanced realm of human decision-making. She will employ data-driven and emotion-centric insights to lead compelling communication strategies, playing a pivotal role in driving revenue and achieving sustainable success for the firm.

Having joined CPL in 2020 as the Director of Marketing, Gibson has been instrumental in driving brand development efforts. This includes the establishment of a refreshed and re-launched CPL brand, a comprehensive website redesign, the expansion of email and social media marketing strategies, enhancements to SEO practices and more.

Recognized for her problem-solving skills, Gibson has fostered numerous partnerships among multidisciplinary teams, cultivating a collaborative and passionate work environment at CPL. As the newly appointed CMO, she will continue to spearhead the firm’s marketing efforts, now with an expanded scope and influence.
