CPL’s Meredith Ludlam Elected to AIA’s Young Architects Forum

PITTSBURGH, PA — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 46 years, is pleased to announce Meredith Ludlam’s appointment as Secretary of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Pittsburgh’s Young Architects Forum (YAF).

YAF is devoted to advancing the professional development of Pittsburgh’s junior architects by encouraging members to pursue licensure and engage in collaborative design efforts. In her role as YAF Secretary, Ludlam will work to grow the forum’s network, identify new architectural resources and establish partnerships with other firms, organizations, agencies and private entities on behalf of CPL.

A member of CPL’s architectural team, Ludlam utilizes her exceptional design skills to produce schematic drawings, 3D models and presentations for a wide array of projects. Ecologically conscious, her plans limit energy use and promote carbon reduction, and her strong interest in cultivating well-balanced environments recently led her to accept a position on the firm’s Sustainable Design Team.

“The YAF mission is perfectly suited for CPL’s drive to champion talent mobility,” said Tom Teti, AIA, NCARB, Principal Architect in CPL’s Pittsburgh office. “We’re elated that they elected Meredith to this position, and we look forward to supporting her growth as she pursues new ventures in tandem with AIA leadership.”
