ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Paul Vogel, Justin Cross, RA, Janine Meier and Dan Leonhard to its growing team in Rochester, NY.
Vogel joins the electrical engineering team as a Senior Electrical Engineer with more than 20 years of industry experience. He is responsible for designing power distribution systems, lighting and low-voltage systems for a variety of our building design projects.
Prior to joining CPL, Vogel served as an Electrical Engineer at LaBella Associates. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering technology from Alfred State College and resides in Rochester, NY.
Cross joins the architectural team as a Project Architect, responsible for performing project layout, detailing and coordination throughout the design and contract document phases of projects. He will also help coordinate project meetings with clients, consultants and team members alike.
Cross previously served as a Project Designer at SEI Design Group, Architects. He has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Arizona as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural technology and an Associates degree in architectural engineering technology from SUNY College of Technology at Alfred. Cross is a registered architect in New York State and resides in Rochester, NY.
Meier joins the firm as an Executive Assistant and will manage the day-to-day affairs of CPL’s Executive Leadership team. With more than 13 years of providing highly advanced secretarial skills in support of senior executives, she will handle critical tasks that have direct effect on the firm’s success.
Prior to joining CPL, Meier served as an Executive Assistant at Cerion Nanomaterials. She has an Associates degree in marketing from Monroe Community College and resides in Rochester, NY.
Leonhard joins the finance team as a Controller. In this role, he is responsible for leading the technical accounting aspects of CPL’s monthly reports, managing various audits and tax returns, and spearheading efforts to drive efficiencies in the firm’s billing, accounts payable and payroll processes.
Prior to joining CPL, Leonhard served as a Controller for Opta Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College and Resides in Liverpool, NY.
