CPL Welcomes Michaele-Ann Palmer, Robert Lucia and Miguel Ortiz-Teed in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Michaele-Ann Palmer, Robert Lucia and Miguel Ortiz-Teed to its growing team in Buffalo, NY.

Palmer joins CPL’s architectural team as an experienced Project Manager and will be responsible for leading multi-disciplined teams throughout all phases of design. A versatile design professional with a keen eye for detail, she has been involved in various practice areas but brings extensive experience in the K-12 sector.

Prior to joining CPL, Palmer served as a Project Manager for Young + Wright Architectural. She has an Associate of Applied Science in architectural technology from Erie Community College.

Joining the construction team, Lucia will serve as Construction Inspector and will work alongside civil engineers on a variety of projects, including roadway, public water main and other civil and municipal engineering assignments. He will conduct field observations and inspections for various construction activities.

Lucia previously operated the Village of Akron’s wastewater treatment plant for more than 20 years. He maintains professional licensure in New York for wastewater treatment plant operations.

Ortiz-Teed joins the firm as an Architectural Designer. His primary responsibilities will include the creation and maintenance of AutoCAD and Revit models as well as the preparation of drawings for multiple design phases. He will also perform submittal reviews and attend design team meetings, preparing minutes for distribution.

Ortiz-Teed has a Bachelor of Science in art from Daemen College and an Associate of Science in fine arts from Genesee Community College.
