CPL Welcomes Leonard van Heest in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Leonard van Heest, AIA, NCARB to its growing architectural team in Pittsburgh, PA.

As an Architectural Project Manager, van Heest will coordinate architectural project efforts to ensure effective execution. He brings decades of design and planning experience as well as an impressive design portfolio that spans a large variety of project types, including substantial work that is deeply rooted in all facets of healthcare design. van Heest will leverage this experience to lead project types, develop client relationships and assist in the development of junior staff.

Prior to joining CPL, van Heest served as a Senior Healthcare Architect at MCF Architecture. He has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit Mercy as well as a Project Management Certificate from Pennsylvania State University. Furthermore, van Heest holds professional licensure in several states including Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Washington DC, and West Virginia.

Outside the office, van Heest is affiliated with professional organizations including the American Institute of Architects (AIA)American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE)National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Netherland American Chamber of Commerce (NACCSE).
