BUFFALO, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Gerry May, PE, CPD, LEED AP, BD+C to its growing team in Buffalo, NY.
May joins the firm as a Mechanical Engineer with more than a decade of industry experience. He will be responsible for the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for various building projects as well as the production of associated plans and specifications. He will carefully evaluate and select project equipment, perform extensive calculations, ensure energy code compliance and interact closely with architects and fellow engineers to consistently provide high-quality deliverables to CPL’s clients.
May previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Wendel in Williamsville, NY, and maintains professional engineering and plumbing design licensure in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology from SUNY College of Technology at Alfred and serves as the President of the Buffalo-Niagara Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).
