Buffalo, NY – Thursday, October 1, 2020 – CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 45 years, is pleased to welcome Louis Henley and Mustafa Shakoor, EIT to its civil engineering team in Buffalo, NY.
As a member of the civil engineering team, Henley will assist with drafting, design, and cost estimates for a variety of transportation engineering projects. He joins the CPL team after serving six years at Powell’s Paving and Maintenance. Henley has an associate degree in business administration from SUNY Genesee Community College and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University at Buffalo. Outside the office, he is the President of the Newstead Fire Company.
Also joining the civil engineering team, Shakoor will design and draft a variety of transportation engineering projects, including new roadways, curb ramps and conducting inspections. Prior to joining CPL, he served as a Highway Design Engineering Intern at the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Region 5, where he became very familiar with NYSDOT standards and specifications. Shakoor has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University at Buffalo and a New York State EIT (Engineer In Training) Certification.
