SUWANEE, GA — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Kenneth Barber to its growing team in Suwanee, GA.
Barber joins CPL’s construction team as a Building Official. He will be responsible for examining residential and commercial construction sites to ensure adherence to adopted building, erosion control and zoning codes. He will field questions from developers and contractors regarding compliance and corrective action and oversee the consolidation of associated reports, forms and citations.
Prior to joining CPL, Barber served as a Building Official and Senior Plans Examiner for the Forsyth County Department of Building and Economic Development. He maintains more than 20 International Code Council (ICC) certifications, including as a Building, Mechanical, Plumbing and Residential Combination Inspector, a Building Code Official and a Commercial Energy Plans Examiner.
