ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Ted Cordes, MBA, CPA to its growing team in Rochester, NY. Serving as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Cordes will be responsible for overseeing financial functions and collaborating with leadership to define and implement long-term strategies for expansion.
As a seasoned finance professional with more than 25 years of experience in the realm of strategic transitions, corporate business development and merger, acquisition and divestiture operations, Cordes will manage banking relationships; identify, assess and model risks in support of executive financial decisions; provide comprehensive explanations of stock valuations; and work with the firm’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) to identify new programs that will simplify, stabilize and scale back-office operations.
Prior to joining CPL, Cordes served as Director at JC Jones and Associates, LLC. He also held senior leadership positions with Regional International Corp, Carthage Specialty Paperboard, Inc. and Deltapoint Capital Partners. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University at Geneseo, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
