Strategically located adjacent to the existing Emergency Department (ED), the unit provides dedicated space for patients requiring extended monitoring and treatment before discharge or hospital admission. This adjacency—achieved through thoughtful site modifications to reorient ambulance access—ensures seamless patient transfers, maintaining the highest standards of safety, care and operational efficiency.

Beyond addressing ED capacity, our healthcare practice team focused on significantly enhancing outpatient access. The addition introduces a dedicated outpatient services entrance with convenient, reserved parking, creating a more accessible and patient-friendly experience. This new entry point streamlines access to critical services such as imaging and cardiology, eliminating the need for patients to navigate long distances from the hospital’s main entrance.

By combining strategic planning, functional efficiency and a patient-centered approach, the new Observation Unit not only relieves pressure on emergency services but also elevates the overall quality of care, convenience and accessibility for the hospital’s community.
