CHARLOTTE, NC — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 49 years, is pleased to announce the addition of Maggie Gordon, NCIDQ, as an Associate Healthcare Principal.
Drawing on her 15 years of experience in healthcare design, Gordon will lead collaborative efforts among architects, interior designers and project managers to expand the team’s portfolio of new construction and renovation projects, including acute care facilities, outpatient centers and wellness spaces across North Carolina and beyond.
“Our team is dedicated to creating transformative environments that meet evolving client needs and inspire positive change,” said Adam Chahulski, AIA, National Healthcare Practice Leader at CPL. “Maggie has a proven ability to foster impactful connections that uplift communities—and this personable approach aligns perfectly with our healthcare mission.”
Before joining CPL, Gordon was the Healthcare Sector Leader at LS3P in Charlotte, where she managed a range of high-profile projects for clients, including the Medical University of South Carolina, among others. Her portfolio also features initiatives for Cape Fear Valley Health at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, and for Atrium Health at Design Strategies, LLC.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Radford University, with a minor in Business Administration, and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Facility Planning (AMFP), Women in Healthcare and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). Previously, Gordon served on the Committee on Academic Infrastructure and the Space Advisory Group at the University of Oregon and was involved with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in Charlotte.
CPL looks forward to supporting Gordon’s professional growth and development, as well as her efforts to envision spaces that foster healing, enhance patient accessibility and promote overall community wellness.
