CHARLOTTE, NC — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Casey McBride, E.I.T. to its growing team in Charlotte, NC.

McBride joins the firm as a Structural Engineer. He will be responsible for preparing construction drawings and models to accommodate given projects’ unique needs, and will also compile data, disseminate design information, perform calculations and coordinate with internal and external teams to deliver on-time, innovative solutions for clients. He has ample experience completing estimates and working with contractors to manage logistics and documentation for diverse highway and bridge projects, which he will apply toward the advancement of CPL’s transportation design assignments.

McBride previously served as a Bridge Estimator / Project Engineer for Lee Construction Company of the Carolinas in Pineville, NC. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and is pursuing professional engineering (PE) licensure.
