Saratoga County DPW - "Mack Shack" Highway Garage
Saratoga County, New York
Client: Saratoga County Department of Public Works
Completion Date: 2017
Total Project Cost: $1 million
CPL provided architectural and engineering design services for the replacement of a prefabricated metal highway garage building located at Saratoga County’s Department of Public Works facility. The building, commonly referred to as the “Mack Shack,” was originally constructed in 1979 and had been declared a "Total Loss" after a fire in 2015 caused substantial damage to the building envelope and structural steel.
CPL worked with the County to design a new building in the same location, utilizing the existing foundations and floor slabs.
